The largest national reserve in Kenya. The loving local communities have protected the animals on these lands from poaching since 1961. The Mara is home to the big five which includes lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, and rhinos. This is among one of the few reserves in Africa where the elephant population is increasing dramatically. The morning fog settles as the animals start to come out.
